A shout out to my lady Kate

Many, many thanks to my best friend Kate for giving me fair warning and adequate blank space so as to prevent me from being assaulted by traumatizing information and/or pictures. If I were able to access the comment link, I would have posted this comment on that post to testify to all that read her blog, but, alas, that would have defeated the entire purpose. There are many true measures of friendship; one of them is recognizing that your best friend is, always has been, and will likely always be frantically terrified of stretch reptiles, and surprise viewings of them not infrequently make her cry.

Love,
Cat

Also love from Chris and the posse, because now they don't have to deal with me being totally freaked out for the rest of the week.

I am posting this as a comment for you right now. :-) Girl, you know I take care of you! (That is more effective if read in the voice of Old Dirty Bastard, whom you may also know as Dirty, or ODB, or Big Baby Jesus. Or not at all, depending on your familarity with bad hip hop.)

why are you guys so funny?

I think it's early exposure to Monty Python, tempered with years of obsession with Wayne's World and just a smidgen of Zoolander. But that's just a guess.

I freaking love all that. Wayne's World changed my life. I even have the excalibur guitar.

Me too! Okay, so it lives under my bed because I haven't played it since high school, but still.

If Benjamin were an ice cream flavor, he'd be pralines...
