We are officially on campus at this point, entering by way of the forested area. Behind us and a little to the left is Kirkwood Ave, the equivalent of Dickson Street. We're surrounded by several of the main academic buildings, including an observatory, which has open houses every Wednesday night for stargazing. Fantastic!
I come wander around here to detox between classes.

These are both Ballantine Hall, the Humanities Hub. Is huge.
Below: The giant globe in the Ballantine basement.

Casa de Kinsey. Well, the 3rd and 4th floors, anyway. I hear tell there's a "spanking room," but no one I've asked has been specific as to whether it's a room devoted to the arts and artifacts of spanking, or if it's where they put the naughty scholars. Time will tell.

(Above) These fabulous wooden walkways cover a good deal of the southwest corner. Many of them cross streams that dump into the Jordan River, which runs through campus. I swear to god. The River Jordan. But perhaps no one thinks that's funny but me.

These are both taken from the middle of campus. Seriously. The middle. Look at all that green! We cannot emphasize enough how lovely this place is.
And, finally, the Sample Gates. The West end of campus, leading directly onto Kirkwood Ave.

So: the campus is totally bitchin'. Pics of our house forthcoming, once it's clean enough for public viewing.
